Dear  Friends:

I’m troubled and elated. Troubled at the crisis of economics and education in our communities. Our unemployment rate doubles and sometimes triples that of of the rest of the nation. With the recent housing crisis, our meager equity wealth has been decimated.
 

Troubled because education continues to fail black youth and the black community. Elated because we have all the power to change our condition.  

Elated because at this summit we have two workshop leaders - Wekesa Madzimoyo and Chike Akua - who can help us shape solutions to this crisis. Join us on Sat. Oct. 8th to help us become a part of the solution!
